Barbarian is the latest horror film to release in theaters. Here is your full guide to the cast, who they play, and where you've seen them before.

Warning: This post contains spoilers for Barbarian Barbarian cast and character guide. Written and directed by Zach Cregger, Barbarian is a horror film that is full of unexpected turns. The movie had its premiere at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con and was originally scheduled for theatrical release on August 31 before being delayed to September 9.

The film follows Tess, a woman who arrives in the pouring rain to her reserved Airbnb, only to discover that another guest is also staying at the rental for a few days. Double-booked and with nowhere else to go due to a medical convention in town booking up the hotels, Tess soon learns there is something sinister lurking beneath the house and that her unexpected Airbnb guest is the least of her problems.

Barbarian has a small, but talented cast. Led by Georgina Campbell, here is the full guide to the cast of the horror film, including who the actors are playing, and in what other projects they’ve been in.

Tess Marshall is a researcher who comes to Detroit for a job interview as a research assistant for a documentarian. She is rightfully suspicious of the Airbnb renter she's staying with before things take a turn. Tess is portrayed by Georgina Campbell, who is best known for playing Lyta Zod on the DC Comics series Krypton. She has also been in films and TV series such as All My Friends Hate Me, Suspicion, the British drama Broadchurch starring Doctor Who actor David Tennant, and Black Mirror.

Keith Toshko is the other renter who arrives before Tess and just so happens to be staying at the same Airbnb. Keith is portrayed by Bill Skarsgård, who is best known for portraying Pennywise in the horror film IT, the 2017 film directed by Andy Muschietti. Skarsgård reprised the role of the terrifying clown in the sequel IT Chapter Two. The actor is also known for his roles in Deadpool 2, Eternals, Nine Days, the Hulu series Castle Rock, Anna Karenina, Allegiant, and the TV series Hemlock Grove.

AJ Gilbride is an actor who visits his house in Detroit after accusations of sexual misconduct emerge following the filming of his pilot TV show. AJ is trying to liquidate his assets, but soon discovers that there is something quite sinister in the Airbnb house. AJ is portrayed by Justin Long, who is best known for his roles in Live Free or Die Hard, the horror film Jeepers Creepers, Galaxy Quest, He’s Just Not That Into You, the animated series F is for Family, and for his guest starring appearances in the hit sitcom New Girl.

Matthew Patrick Davis As The Mother - The Mother is a mysterious figure who lives in the underground part of the house. She is the film’s biggest threat, coming after the residents of the home, though she ultimately just wants one thing. The Mother is portrayed by Matthew Patrick Davis, who is best known for the TV series Dwight in Shining Armor and the animated show American Dad!

Richard Brake as Frank - Frank is a man who preyed on women in the past, and whose house AJ ended up buying. Richard Brake is known for his roles in Hannibal Rising, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and a guest role in The Mandalorian.

Kate Nichols as Catherine - Catherine is a documentary filmmaker who interviews Tess. Kate Nichols has appeared in The Operative, the TV series Pandora, and Danny. Legend. God.

Jaymes Butler as Andre - Andre is someone who has lived in the eerie Detroit neighborhood for a long time. Jaymes Butler has been in Resident Evil, Big Game, and Snowden.

Derek Morse as police officer - Derek Morse plays a police officer who isn’t quick to believe Tess. Morse has been in The Outpost.

Trevor Van Uden as police officer - Trevor Van Uden plays an officer and Morse’s partner. Van Uden has been in Memory, which starred Liam Neeson and the hit horror series Evil.

Kate Bosworth as Melisa - Melisa is the woman Frank follows home from the store in Barbarian. Kate Bosworth is best known for her roles in Superman Returns, in which she played Lois Lane, Blue Crush, and 21.
