Samsung Electronics is largely synonymous with consumer electronic devices and consequently is one of the leading innovative and technology brands in the market globally. A little known fact however, is the company’s expertise, support and value offering the company provides in the B2B space with 15,000 large enterprises supported as well as hundreds of thousands of SMB entrepreneurs (via our partners) in the retail, transportation, healthcare and finance through to the public service and government sectors.

As a female lead, in my role for 8 years now, working in a predominantly male dominated industry, it’s been an interesting and fulfilling experience observing how Samsung has continually evolved to reach new heights across soft (diversity, equity and diversity) and hard (B2C and B2B offering) aspects. When it comes to the latter, specifically the B2B industry, the food and beverage industry is an excellent day-to-day example of how the company has made the restaurant and in-store experience as compelling as possible for customers.

In order to regain sales momentum, leading Quick Service Restaurants are using digital solutions to provide shoppers with more convenient fulfilment services, including drive-thru, curbside pickup and delivery options — increasing customer satisfaction and retention as well as their basket size. With indoor and outdoor display solutions, Samsung makes it easy to drive customer traffic, boost order size and streamline back-of-house processes. Samsung's digital QSR displays are capable of presenting vibrant imagery and clear information at all times, allowing customers to make the ordering experience more convenient.

This also lends itself well to the rise of curbside pickup, due to the recent safety restrictions, that have made outdoor digital signage more important than ever.

Focusing on the technology used, the company places emphasis on cost saving and efficiency. Our LED signage offers energy efficiency and sustainability improvements, with equally compelling knock-on effects. Compared to old-fashioned halogen, incandescent or fluorescent alternatives, LED consumes between 50 and 70 percent less electricity, resulting in immediate cost savings. In a country where cost and power supply are much aligned issues, this is a crucial aspect.

Ultimately, our mission is to offer the best and innovative solutions and products in the B2B arena and in order to achieve that, the company focuses on the way business is being done today and thanks to our extensive global partnership network and a supply chain that runs from R&D through to network, Samsung’s mobile B2B strategy is open, innovative and secure paving the way for businesses to stay connected, securely and safely.
