New Delhi: Samsung has launched its 55-inch flagship gaming monitor, Odyssey Ark, in India today. Speaking about the specifications, the Odyssey Ark flaunts a 55-inch curved display that uses a Mini-LED backlight and QLED technology.
Samsung Odyssey Ark 55 Price In India, Availability
The Samsung Odyssey Ark 55 is priced at ₹2,19,999 in India and it is already available for purchase through Samsung’s official Indian website. The monitor comes with a 3-year warranty and the company is offering a 2TB Portable SSD for free as an introductory offer. Besides, users can also avail of an instant cart discount of ₹10,000 in addition to a free 1TB Portable SSD T7 Shield USB 3.2. Do note that the discounts offered are valid from October 7 to October 9, midnight.
It includes a 55-inch curved screen with QLED technology and Mini-LED lighting. The 14-bit VA QLED display has a matte surface, HDR10+, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, a 165Hz refresh rate, a 1ms grey-to-grey response time, and a 4K resolution. It can be as bright as 600 nits on average and 2,000 nits at its brightest in HDR.
The Game Bar lets you alter display settings rapidly. The company has also activated the Odyssey Ark to broadcast four video inputs concurrently. Samsung Gaming Hub lets you access Amazon Luna, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, and Nvidia GeForce Now. Samsung Odyssey Ark includes Dolby Atmos and 60W, 2.2.2-channel speakers. The monitor’s stand pivots to accommodate portrait orientation, which Samsung calls “Cockpit Mode.”
On the other hand, the monitor runs on the Tizen OS, which lets you use Apple TV+, Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video. Alexa is included. It has Samsung Health, SmartThings, Wi-Fi 5, Miracast, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Tap View, a USB Type-C connector, an Ethernet port, and four HDMI 2.1 connections (with Auto Source Switch+ and HDMI CEC). It has a height-adjustable, pivoting, swivelling, and tilting stand.
