With the return of professional hockey to Seattle, Daktronics, in cooperation with the Oak View Group, was selected to manufacture and install 224 LED displays at the Seattle Kraken’s new home climate commitment arena. The device has 28,175 square feet of digital signage, with a total of more than 145 million pixels, and a dual suspension display configuration of 2,720 square feet each. The Climate Commitment Arena in the seating area of ​​the bowl is equipped with the first dual-suspension monitor of its kind. Each of these configurations forms a triangle, and each has three displays—two displays facing the edge and a curved display facing the end. The two ends show approximately 25 feet high x 46 feet wide, and the four sides show approximately 23 feet high x 43 feet wide. Each suspended display configuration forms 2,720 square feet of digital space for displaying real-time video, instant playback, statistics and game information, graphics and animation, and sponsorship information.

Four ribbon displays with a total length of 2,160 feet, 32 vomit displays above the seat bowl entrance and exit, four basket pillar displays, three digital scoreboards and two dashboards provide supplementary digital content and information throughout the event. All displays in this area of ​​the arena support HDR.

The internal display screens are in the hall and atrium of the entire arena, and 100 LED display screens are installed in different positions and configurations to enhance the fans' experience. These displays have a total area of ​​13,175 square feet and have pixel pitches of 2.5 and 3.9 mm. This includes the large-scale column package, the atrium bridge display, the climate promise living wall function and the east hall photo frame function.

The external display screen is outside the venue, with 51 LED display screens installed with a total area of ​​3,830 square feet, which are used to communicate with people passing by and spectators arriving to participate in the event. These outdoor plazas immediately display facility brands upon arrival, and parking displays indicate directions to help traffic flow. These displays have pixel pitches of 3.9 and 5.9 mm.

Daktronics also integrated custom control solutions, including Show Control and Camino products. The system provides a combination of display control software, world-class video processing, data integration and playback hardware, forming a user-friendly production solution.
