Vision Europe is responsible for the design and implementation of the LED wall and digital signage system in the 50,000 square meter hall.

The biggest challenge of the project was the production of a 216 square meter CUBE scoreboard in the arena. Preparations for this took nearly two years. The facade will accommodate 800 square meters of LED wall, which will be the largest in the area. The modern multifunctional hall can hold 22,000 seats and will host the 2022 European Men's Handball Championship.

Construction of the gymnasium started in November 2019. The design serves a range of indoor sports: basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, skating, martial arts, weightlifting, fencing, gymnastics, and even horse riding and racing thanks to advanced technical systems in the hall.

In addition to domestic and international sports events, the hall can also host events that require a large number of visitors, such as conferences, large-scale concerts, performances and exhibitions.

"Our entire technical team is committed to this project, which took nearly two years to prepare. Our goal is to make an unusual, modern and innovative LED wall system to serve the building. The largest CUBE in Hungary The scoreboard will be placed in the center of the arena. The 800-square-meter LED wall on the façade is the largest such surface in the region.” said Szabolcs Botond, CEO of Visual Europe Group.

“Hungary’s largest 12-ton CUBE scoreboard consists of exactly 216 square meters and 14 million pixels. There is a video wall with rounded corners on each side. Depending on the event, the location can be changed because it can move up and down freely. The building itself is very impressive. The impressive scale and the fact that some LED systems must be installed on sloping walls are challenging,” explained József Hódi, COO of Vision Europe.

He added that the CUBE LED wall has been completed, and additional systems, façades and surrounding LED walls are now being installed.
